You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
If you find that your story is like mine in any way, let me point you to Jesus Christ, who died for our sins so that we may be made right and have a lasting relationship with God.
The disciples had a big decision to make in filling Judas’ position, and it appears to have come down to the flipping of a coin.
But when Jesus gives them instructions that were probably technically incorrect, they follow them and end up catching an abundance of fish.
I do not deserve to be standing where I am today. My actions, choices, and ultimately, my sins, would convict me countless times over again.
You wear mercy, gentleness, and kindness, while the world wears revenge, impatience, and selfishness.
The worries of life, the rat race, the need to achieve are so strong in this world that they can become our motivation if we’re not careful.
It is of utmost importance that we know what (and who) we are dedicated to. Otherwise, our very souls could be on the line.
Instead of growing jealous and trying to hold on to his success, John humbly accepts his role in God’s plan and steps aside for Jesus.
