Worship God Every Single Day — Worship Moment v. 9

Heart Of Worship + Nothing Else – Gateway Worship (feat. Michael Bethany)

“I’m coming back to the heart of worship
And it’s all about You
It’s all about You, Jesus
I’m sorry, Lord, for the thing I’ve made it
When it’s all about You
It’s all about You, Jesus.”

When we adopt the perspective that this life we have been given is not ours, it causes us to live differently. I like to compare our lives to the servants and talents in the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25. Jesus tells the story of a man who entrusts his three servants with talents–or money–to handle while he goes away on a journey. There was an expectation that the servants would use their abilities to multiply the talents for the man before he returned. Two of the three servants worked hard and met this expectation, but the third servant did nothing with the money, and as a result, there was no increase. When the man returned from his journey, he praised the two hard-working servants for their results and faithfulness, but berated and punished the third servant for his laziness.

When we recognize that this life we have been given is a gift from God, and that He will eventually judge how we have used it, it causes us to live differently. In Romans 12:1, Paul encourages the church, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship.”

Our lives are an opportunity to worship God each and every day. How we take care of our bodies, how we use the resources and abilities God has given us, and how we treat those around us are all great opportunities to worship God. We must stop living for ourselves and instead live for the King of Kings, our Heavenly Father, who gives us our good gifts!

The Question: In what way can you worship God every single day?
