All that matters — Worship Moment v. 12
All That Matters–GUC || Danzibah Gospel
“I’ll make room for two,
You and I, Jesus
You’re all that matters,
You’re all that matters.”

I was reminded, as this New Year started, that God is all that matters. Despite all that I have on my plate, all my cares and worries, struggles and hopes, God is actually all that matters. He is the main character, not me. When I adopt this perspective, my priorities shift. No longer do I focus solely on myself, allowing my worries to absorb all my time and energy. Instead, I can take my hands off my life and raise them in worship to God. With this understanding, my perspective shifts. It goes beyond myself to the One that is above and below and around and in everything. My very motivations are no longer to seek my own comfort or pleasure, or to that of others, but instead to please God.
I encourage you, as you start the new year, to actively reflect on what takes precedence in your life, what it is that matters most. Then ask God to help you shift everything aside that is not Him so that you can put Him first.
The Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am sorry for the times when I am selfish and small-minded. I pray that you will help me release to You all that I put in front of You on a daily basis, God. I ask that You give me a heart after Yours, that I would seek You before anything else in this lifetime. Thank You for the good work that You are doing in me today. In Your glorious name I pray, Jesus, Amen.
