Praise God for His wonderful plan — Scripture Reflection #063

Revelation 21:3-4 (New Living Translation)

3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among His people! He will live with them, and they will be His people. God Himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.

Praise God for His wonderful plan. From the beginning of creation, He simply wanted to be with us and build a relationship with us. He would walk with the first man, Adam, in the garden as one does with a friend. He had the Israelites build the Tabernacle, and later the Temple, so that He could be among His people. He journeyed and communed with the disciples on earth as Jesus. He gave us His Holy Spirit to dwell within us as we live out our lives His way. And now, at the end of time and after the final judgment, we see that He is again looking to be with us–to live with us. This time, however, it is forevermore. Praise God for His wonderful plan!
