“I wasn’t even aware of it!” — Scripture Reflection #075
Genesis 28:16 (New Living Translation)
16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!”
We must be careful that we do not miss God because we are too distracted or busy to notice Him. Setting aside time every morning and throughout the day, just for God, will allow us to be constantly aware of His presence–and not miss Him or what He has in store for us!
The Prayer: Lord God, thank You for always being close to me. I pray that I will actively and intentionally seek You each day. Help me to pursue You, just like how You pursue me. I love You. Amen.
