Before the Throne — Scripture Reflection #061

Revelation 7:9-10 (New Living Translation)

9 After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. 10 And they were shouting with a great roar, “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!”

May this be each of our dreams for ourselves: that we would see ourselves standing before the King of kings and His Son, shouting Their praises with joy, alongside a great crowd of our fellow witnesses.

Believe it or not, this dream can become a reality today if we commit to praising God for who He is and what He has done through our words, attitudes, and the way we live each day. That way, when our dream is fulfilled one day, and we are in heaven standing before the throne, we will be well-practiced and be able to sing God’s praises joyfully, confidently, and naturally.

The Calling: Live today like you are already standing before the throne of God–full of praise and worship of the most high King and His Son.

A lavish throne room with a gold and red velvet throne centered under an arch. Dim lighting creates a majestic and regal atmosphere, highlighting ornate details. This represents how one day, we will stand before the throne and praise God.
