Rest — Worship Moment v. 13
Lean Back — Capital City Music
“You’ve brought me here to rest
and given me space to breathe.
So I’ll stay here until it sinks in.”

Rest. When was the last time you sat back and truly rested in God?–when you let go of all your burdens, all your cares and anxieties, and truly found rest? When did you last take the time to just breathe and realize that, in God, you are okay and you are going to be okay?
The beauty of God and His presence is that you can find true, soul-fulfilling rest when you take the time to sit with Him. To lean back in His arms. To do absolutely nothing but bask in His presence and receive His comfort. He is your loving Father, and He wants you to feel His all-encompassing compassion and warmth as you just sit with Him.
I ask you, today, to take ten minutes to rest in God. Find somewhere quiet, get comfortable, and listen to the song above, receiving God’s rest for you.
“I will lean back in the loving arms
Of a beautiful Father
[I will] Breathe deep and know that He is good
He’s a love like no other.”
The Prayer: Loving Father, thank You for providing me with a place of safety, rest, and comfort. I know that I can find all-encompassing rest for my mind, body, and soul as I trust You and lean back into Your powerful, secure arms. So, Father, I come to You today, dropping my burdens before You and accepting Your promises of rest. Father, I do not need to do anything here but lean back and rest in You. Thank You. Amen.
