My deception and hypocrisy — Scripture Reflection #054
I confess that I have practiced deception and hypocrisy in my life.
I confess that I have practiced deception and hypocrisy in my life.
Despite all that I have on my plate, all my cares and worries, God is actually all that matters. He is the main character, not me.
We must do more than talk the talk; we must also walk the walk.
We can find freedom and a clear conscience from the enemy’s lies when we confess of our sins and have faith in Jesus Christ.
When we live according to God’s standards and the mandates of heaven while we are still on earth, we will be prepared for our lives there.
It is extremely frustrating–to me at least–that I cannot win my battles against my temptations and sins on my own.
The beauty of the Gospel is that when we have faith in Jesus and what He did with His life, death, and resurrection, we become transformed.
I have learned in my life that God is faithful to provide, and that He loves to give to those who give to others.
When life starts “life-ing,” and the stress and the struggles start piling up, it is imperative that we have battle scriptures at the ready.
